Blue sapphires combine with 18k gold to create these Egyptian inspired earrings. Historically sapphires signified the height of celestial faith and hope. They were also believed to have properties of protection, bringing spiritual insight and good fortune. In ancient Egypt seashells were made out of semiprecious and even precious stone and material, worn to protect from harm. The shells were also placed in tombs to accompany the deceased and continue to offer them protection in the afterlife.
