Jewellery Care

LunaFlo London jewellery is carefully crafted by hand from a variety of materials including solid gold (14ct and 18ct gold), and precious and semi-precious stones. To ensure your jewellery has a long life, please treat it with care.

Storing Your Jewellery

Store your jewellery pieces individually so they do not scratch, keep your chains fastened so they do not become tangled and close hoop earrings. Do not keep jewellery in direct sunlight as prolonged exposure to sunlight can cause many gemstones to fade and lose their colour.

Wearing

Your jewellery is particularly susceptible to damage from the effects of chemicals present in perfume, hairspray, make-up, nail polish remover, body oils, sun tan lotion and deodorant. All of these can make pieces prematurely tarnish. We advise perfume to be worn first, ensure it has dried and then wear your jewellery. Always remember that your jewellery should be the last thing you put on and the first thing you take off when dressing.

Pearls

LunaFlo London will sometimes use Freshwater Pearls in our designs. Freshwater Pearls are sensitive in nature, so don’t forget to treat them with love. Avoid direct contact with chemicals found in perfume or other cosmetics. DO NOT use ‘dip’ style jewellery cleaner on Pearl jewellery.

Cleaning Care

You can clean your jewellery with a soft, non-abrasive cloth - this will bring back shine to your pieces and rub light oxide off. There are home cleaning kits available. If you prefer a professional clean, visit your nearest jeweller who may provide this service.
